These tools help keep Victorinox butcher knives exceptionally sharp, ensuring precise, effortless cuts. A sharp knife not only improves cutting performance but also significantly reduces the risk of accidents during food preparation.We recommend using a honing steel that is at least 2 inches longer than the knife, so for this blade choose a 12 or 14 inch honing steel. If you're uncomfortable using a honing steel we recommend an F. Dick Rapid Action or Master Steel.
