Regarding the Kikuichi SEM150 Utility/Petty knife: what color is the wood handle?

The handles I have seen in person are a reddish-brown, but in the photo on your website it looks black.

The handle of the Kikuichi Semi-Stainless 5.9 in. Utility Knife is dark black, crafted from thin layers of dyed wood that are pressure-infused with polyurethane. There are other series of Kikuichi knives with reddish-brown handles. Warikomi Gold would be an example of that handle coloration.
