Yes, Mac knives are covered by warranty when you purchase from an authorized retailer like Knife Merchant. Here is a bit about their warranty:
The MAC Knife, Inc. USA warranty covers any defects in the materials or workmanship of our products for 25 years from the date of purchase. This does not include accidental or incidental damage including broken or bent tips; staining or corrosion to the blade; or any cosmetic scratches, chips, or dents to the handle or blade that occur during normal use. This warranty is non-transferable and is valid only to the original purchaser. Warranty claims can be made by calling us at 1-888-MAC-KNIFE (1-888-622-5643) or by filling out our Warranty Form (Note: In order to use our online forms you must have a valid email address). One of our representatives will then email you with instructions on how to send back your product.
Please note that we keep customer records for many years and are always available to assist in any warranty claims, should they arise/
